World of Darkness at a glance Empty World of Darkness at a glance

In this game, you will incarnate a vampire, but other mythical creatures share this world's surface, hidden from people's eyes:

  • Werewolves: These well known creatures are one of the most powerful and, probably, the archetypical arch-enemy of the vampire-kind. In the middle of the cities, surrounded by big amounts of humans, vampires are much more difficult to find, as well as in better numbers to face the enemy. The division of the world (cities for vampires, rural areas for werewolves) makes that vampires tend to be always in the same place. There are, of course, exceptions to this rule. Here you can find more information about them.

  • Hunters: These humans are a real danger, not only because of their numbers, or their knowledge, many of them have super-natural powers, making them a such formidable enemy that the vampires had to hide themselves in order to survive.Supernatural can be considered as an example of the life of a hunter (or two), and how dangerous they can be. Here you can find the Wikipedia's article about them.

  • Witches: Of course, if there are vampires in the world, how wouldn't be real too? It is possible that Hunters have diminished their numbers drastically, but that doesn't mean that they wouldn't been able of destroy a vampire ether. Real powerful creatures have been hunted by ambitious vampires to slave them by their blood, and the mages have hunted vampires in order to get access to the eternal life. Here you can reach the Wikipedia's article about their book.

  • Phantoms, mummies, demons, angels, changelings, faeries, ... Who knows how many creatures there are out there without you knowing?

With this video everything might be a bit more clear (or not):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-kpzgxxzMQ
